“And when your land is once more filled with people,” says the LORD, “you will no longer wish for ‘the good old days’ when you possessed the Ark of the LORD’s Covenant. You will not miss those days or even remember them, and there will be no need to rebuild the Ark.”
Jeremiah 3:16
Cannot tell a lie, these last several days have not been easy. I have used this verse on the ol’ blog before, but I needed to remind myself of it as I stare into a future that is completely and totally unknown (which is both exciting and terrifying for obvious reasons). I’ve really been struggling with what lies ahead, and it’s been extremely difficult for me to continue trusting. So, I really feel as though there is only one thing that I can cling to.
No, dear brothers and sisters, I have not achieved it, but I focus on this one thing: Forgetting the past and looking forward to what lies ahead, I press on to reach the end of the race and receive the heavenly prize for which God, through Christ Jesus, is calling us.
